The story of our family from Polesine began more than 150 years ago. In the 19th century, great-grandfather Carlo was the trusted butcher of Maestro Giuseppe Verdi. Then, subsequent generations worked hard by raising animals, planting poplars, producing vegetables, fruit, wheat, cured meats and ferrying travelers from one bank of the Po river to the other.
